Muzzammil Zaveri
I'm a Partner at Audacious Ventures where I'm investing out of a $150M early-stage fund focused on backing the most ambitious founders in the world at the very start of their journeys.
To me, great founders have a certain je ne sais quoi—an intangible edge that can't be quantified or easily pattern matched, especially in the earliest stages. That's why I believe in deeply listening to their audacious vision, understanding the people they choose to build with, tracing the decisions that brought them to this moment, and being willing to dream the dream alongside them—long before any metrics exist. In an industry that often relies on pattern recognition—across founders, markets, and business models—I believe the qualities that make a founder truly exceptional often defy conventional patterns. Outliers don't fit templates. They don’t cater to convention or conform to established tastes.
My perspective on people has been shaped by a childhood spent across four continents, where I immersed myself in a wide range of cultures and socioeconomic realities. That lens informs how I approach investing today—seeking out bold, early-stage founders who see the world and its problems differently.
Before Audacious, I spent time at Kleiner Perkins and Gradient Ventures. I've led or been involved as an investor in companies like Labelbox, Unit21, Figma, Retool, Pine Park Health, Flowdash, Reclaim, and FullStory. Before becoming an investor, I founded Proxino a YC (S11) backed developer tools company in the JavaScript error detection space.
